WOW… Rogers are just weird, a few years back Rogers opened “Fido” that should have been their cheep cellphone provider.
Today, Rogers opened Chatr, a new cheep wannabe solution, the answer to Wind mobile.
Sorry Rogers, too little wwaaaayyyyyy too late, the Chatr plans don’t look that appealing to me.

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010Hello all.
Last month, I switched from Rogers to Wind Mobile.
I got my 1st’ full month bill 5 days ago and just wanted to let you know that the low prices of Wind (1, 2) are starting to show up.
I use to pay at least 90$CAN-130$CAN through Rogers and now, It looks like I’m dropping under the 90$CAN mark, that’s nice !
N97mini tour on the way
Wednesday, July 7th, 2010Two days ago I got my N97Mini while being on the N97mini Tour throughout Canada with Tom, Michael, John, April and of course, Chris!, Lots of fun in the RV, lots of talks about mobile and tech, I love it, its awesome, thnX Nokia !!.
A cool thing, the N97mini(what Rogers, here in Canada) will provide, comes with the car kit, Nokia HH-20 and RC-116:

Just to start my thoughts after one day of full use of the N97mini.
Some of the things I do like about it(N97mini):
- The keyboard is really nice and easy to get use to.
- Its much more snappy and fast than what I thought It might be (which is good).
- Lots of fun&free stuff for it on the Ovi store.
- Amazing GPS navigation software, this is the 1st time I see the new Maps application with free navigation, I’m impressed !!!.
Some things I do not like about the phones for now are:
- When editing the folders and dragging an icon into a folder, it jumps into that folder, I wanted it to keep being in the parent folder since this is the one I’m editing :/ .
- This phone gets warm, and I mean it, while charging its extremely hot.. not sure how bad/okay this thing is but its weird.
Here are some images from theN97mini tour
, taken of course with the N97mini:
And of course, some fun stuff on this tour.. Woohoo…
More later…. bye for now.

Symbian-Guru.com Is “Game Over” :(
Friday, July 2nd, 2010Yesterday we lost another soldier of Nokia to Goggle’s Android, Ricky Cadden.
Ricky of Symbian-Guru.com decided to stop blogging and supporting Nokia, This is very sad since he was a great deal of sources and info about Nokia.
I agree with most of the things Ricky writes on hes “fare well” post to Symbian-Guru.com, Nokia is in big trouble in north America and has almost zero market share here (I’m in Vancouver, Canada) and almost zero effort is being put to change that, web services are also kind of a bad things since not much works there (Talking about Ovi, except Ovi files, which I use a lot and I’m sure doesn’t work for someone somewhere else) .
I do hope that the real fight that starts now will change things.
One thing I do not agree at all with Ricky is about the hardware, Nokia is one of the best hardware manufactures in the world. Hardware was never Nokia’s problem, the problem Nokia always had is software, if its web services or cellphone OSs.
Today (and in the next year) with Symbian ^3/4 and Meego, I do hope it will get better
, me being a proud owner of a Maemo 5 powered device (N900) I can see its going in the right direction.
Nokia, I still love you
Goodbye Ricky, it was a pleasure reading your Symbian blog and good luck in your regular tech blog.
Wow, Its about time !
Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010Hi, now that Nokia sport tracker moved to Sport tracker technologies the “Polar Bluetooth WearLink heart rate belt” is now available at the new sport tracker website.

On my way back I went through Heathrow, London airport and enjoyed the Nokia Flagship store there, It was great, I love that I could see some of their high end devices and some low end as well.
Loved it ![]()
Here are some short not interesting videos of from the store…

Really, I’m trying my best here…
Monday, March 15th, 2010Hi All.
All I want is: “Polar Bluetooth WearLink heart rate belt”, or just to get the Nokia N79 Active.
Really, can’t find it anywhere, could it be that its just gone ?.
Hooo.. One more thing, why there is still no support from Nokia Sports tracker to N900 ?
N900 users still work out you know
and I do not want to use eCoach cause I already have a Nokia Sports tracker account, which I love!.
That’s it, just ranting today…
