“Anna” in the works
I installed the leaked “Anna” update on my N8, check it out here, they have a nice video to show how to flash your device(to whatever version, not just this leaked version):

The update is nice, faster and cleaner, here are some things I noticed that are good:
- When adding a song to a play list, there is no longer the prompt if you want a new list or saved, it will list all saved lists and on the top will give the option to add a new one.
- Email client still not all that good, looks much better though, smaller fonts to show more information.

Wow, so I have no idea how to explain this one.
I was on my vacation in China for a whole month, my Nokia N8 was with me the whole time and really, with no doubt saved me so many times!
I said it before but wow, really in a country that no one actually speaks English and you do not know your environment, maps, camera and dictionary all in one package that can stay alive for two days is just… amazing, really.
About the maps, I was walking in a park and wanted to get out, it was a large one and I opened Ovi Maps and found out that the park is actually in there!, it was great, I didn’t have to ask no one where to go, just fallowed the N8 directions.
On many other occasions, I was saved, really saved by the fast GPS lock and correction to my walks and track taxi drivers to see that they actually taking me to where I wanted to go.
Ovi Maps, you are a hero!
Now what is left to do in a big trip is well… take pictures, this is where the N8 can’t get you down, wow, the image/video quality is just unparalleled, really, way to go Nokia!

Long story short, I had great time in China and thnX to my Nokia N8 I never got lost and could show everyone where I have been
Comes with the latest N8 minor update…
Something that comes with the latest N8 minor update, not sure if anyone noticed but now you can edit your background image directly from the “option” button, no need to go and “Edit home screen” any more for just that , Cool.

Nokia N8 gets a minor update , I’m guessing (and know) that a BIG update will arrive soon.
Nokia DC-11
Hi all.
Here is a very quick review of the Nokia DC-11, Its a small portable charger that I tested with fully two charges on my N8 and it saved me on my great times outside the house with no power outlet.
Charging this device so it will be ready for full use takes about 1H’-1.5H’.
Sorry for the bad quality.. I don’t have a great camera, the only great camera I have is on my Nokia N8… so I could not really use it this time 
My N8, A savior!, Hooo, by the way, Happy new year !
Where to start?!?, I’m in the USA, on my vacation, have no reception because the roaming charges from WindMobile are very expensive so I killed the auto connection to the network, however, something still works, the amazing camera of the N8 and of course the one thing that just saved me and my family, the amazing Ovi maps!!!, the maps got me all around California and Nevada (while being in Las Vegas), no need for cellular reception, it just works as a regular GPS, amazing navigation through the rough areas of Big Bear Mountain, this devise is a real savior!, you need to understand, for someone who only works with the metric system, the miles count and signs just did not work for me on the highways, including the speed limits, this device gave me all the info that I needed.
Of course, the N8 gave me another great feature, its amazing camera, I could take great pictures and videos of my family & friends.

Looks like the N8 got a small update
I’m not sure what it includes but I noticed a small update, Maybe it was just of one of my installed apps, however, it said “Device update”
Anyways… check it out, sorry, but I have no change log for this one.
